Lackawanna Heritage Valley’s Group Rides on the Trail were so popular in June that organizers have decided to continue the series in July.
Group Rides on the Trail will be held on Wednesdays, July 12, 19 and 26, weather permitting. Riders should meet in the parking lot of Valley Community Library, 739 River Street, Peckville, at 6 p.m.
Led by LHV volunteer Ken Leibold, the group will ride along the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail to Jermyn and back. The ride is expected to last about an hour. There is no fee to participate, but riders should bring their own bicycles. Riders of all skill levels are welcome.
